Deputy Commissioner of Police Yip Wan-lung, two former top police officers Siu Chak-yee and Lee Ming-kwai, and National Security Committee Executive Director Lau Siu-wai were also present at the opening ceremony.
The forum attracted over a hundred government officials, negotiation experts, scholars, and even members of the police negotiation team, who discussed cooperation in areas such as regional crisis negotiation and psychological services.
In his speech, Ye Yunlong pointed out that negotiation and mental health awareness are very important in modern policing, and the police force will continue to provide training.
